For each design class, I had to design a garment. Here are the final results:
Flat Pattern class
Yellow and white striped seersucker shirt dress

Draping class
Peach brocade 50s inspired cocktail dress
(sorry, camera phone pic. The zipper promptly broke and I have not replaced it yet.)

way to go! so are you finished, finished? or just with this semester?
I had a zipper break on a girl the day before her prom. Half way up...totally stuck. She had to call into work saying she would be late b/c she was stuck in her prom dress! We ended up cutting the teeth out & replacing the zipper (at 2 am, argh.)
Alisa -- I am finished with the semester, but I don't know if I'll take more classes eventually. They just have a certificate program, though there are more useful classes. I think the rest of the classes are more geared toward actually starting a line and stuff. Either way, I just need a break!
I'm glad I'm not the only one with zipper troubles! I bought a new zipper, but I don't feel like putting it in so that it can break a lot. My teacher said this happens a lot with those invisible zippers.
