We might have a very rare chance at a white Christmas this year, thanks to El Nino. Considering it's not sticking, though, I'm not so sure.

Oh, well. We don't know how to drive in snow anyway.
(And in case you might think we NEVER get "real" snow, check out this doozy a few years ago, 12/29/06 -- happened just AFTER Christmas)

My parents had just moved out there when that storm came. They called me the day after and were bitching about it. I was like "oh, well, it's near 50 degrees here. I just went running in shorts."
They were not impressed. They do laugh at everyone's inability to cope with the snow. They actually brought their snow shovels with them when they moved, and the day after the storm they went out and shoveled the driveway, and the neighbors were in awe. Of course that was pretty useless since the road was not plowed.
I remember that storm... knocked the pine bushes flat to the ground...all the neighborhood kids made this massive igloo with a secret tunnel :)
