Something tells me that when kids across the nation are excitedly donning their costumes on Halloween, Brock will be battling us to the bitter end. I finished his owl costume, which included this knitted hat and wings from Martha Stewart. Kid hates hats. Hates them! What was I thinking? I guess I was thinking that this would be a warm costume and that he'd enjoy wearing his owl hat all winter. Woe is me.
My first post about this hat can be found here.

can you share how to make the wings for this costume? It looks like they took down the page for this on the MS site. I'm especially curious how to make the "pleats" on the wings. Iron or sewed? Thank you!
At first I thought I might have put a bad link, but you're right, it seems that they were taken down.
At first, I planned to sew them like pintucks, but it was time-consuming and I felt lazy. I ended up just pressing them as instructed on the Martha Stewart site. Then I sewed them together along the top and part of the sides to secure the layers. I also sewed darts instead of slicing an gluing near the shoulders. Theirs was a no-sew project but I sewed where I thought it would be better or easier for me.
